Ancient Crafts Alive
StraumEyjars purpose is to advance a practical approach to our history by studying this, teach and preserve old crafts, go on field trips and stay the course to make our story available to others. StraumEyjar is an umbrella organization for historical håndtverkerlaug, weapons guild and historical re-creation, called reenactment, in Tromso area. We work with several local companies in connection with various activities, such as Aurora Focus Cinema, Tønsviking Middelaldertun and Tromsø University Museum. Bueskyttergruppa fall under Sports Association Fløya.
